What is Glyxambi?
Glyxambi contains a combination of Empagliflozin and linagliptin. Empagliflozin and linagliptin are oral diabetes drugs that can help control blood sugar levels. Empagliflozin's role is to help the kidneys clear glucose from the blood.
GLYXAMBI is a prescription drug that contains 2 types of diabetes drugs, ipagliflozin (JARDIANCE) and liragliptin (TRADJENTA). GLYXAMBI can be used together with diet and exercise to reduce blood glucose in adults with type 2 diabetes (TRADJENTA) when using JARDIANCE and liragliptin (2) at the same time.
GLYXAMBI is not suitable for patients with type 1 diabetes.
GLYXAMBI is not suitable for people with diabetic ketoacidosis (increased ketones in blood or urine). If you have had pancreatitis in the past, you do n’t know if you are more likely to get pancreatitis when taking GLYXAMBI.
Uses
